Jon Gambrell Construction, was incorporated in 2001 to serve the construction needs of the Mid-South. However, the service behind that name has a much longer history. The owner, Jon Gambrell, began his career in construction in 1987 working as a trim carpenters apprentice in new homes. After gaining several years of experience and valuable training by some of the best in the business, he started his own crew of trim carpenters.

Their quality, quickly, set them apart and together they trimmed homes all over the greater Memphis area. Jon and his crews even traveled out of town at the request of some clients, to complete special jobs.

The attention to quality and detail on each job quickly led to other opportunities by referral. With only satisfied customers as advertisement, Jon was soon making a transition from the trim carpentry field to the building field. It was not long until he became well known for his ability to construct a quality product in a timely basis.

Building custom homes, remodeling existing homes and adding grand additions has been the specialty of the company for many years.  The same qualities that led to so much residential work have also led to several commercial projects.  With remodels, additions, and new constructions, Jon and his men work all over the area, including East Memphis, Chickasaw Gardens, Germantown and also several projects located in Shelby and Fayette Counties.

Customers often ask Jon when his “slow” time is and the answer is “never”.  Great customers satisfaction and referrals have let to customers booking jobs far in advance to secure his services.  Although the demand for work can be great, Jon limits his work load to insure that he can give each job the attention to detail and customer contact it needs and deserves.
